Washington State Excise Tax:

I help business owners in Washington simplify the excise (sales) tax filing process. If you don’t want to spend the time and want to be sure the return is filed correctly, than contact me today to have us file your excise tax return.

The cost for the initial filing is higher due to the setup of your account to allow us to file on your behalf. After your account is established, you can provide us with the sales for the tax period being reported. Generally your payment processing software will provide you a report that we can use. Once we prepare your excise tax filing, we can either submit the return with a payment or you can authorize us to file the return with an electronic payment to the Department of Revenue.

Important Dates:

Excise tax returns are due on the 25 day of the month following the period you are reporting on. You can either be a monthly, quarterly or annual filer and the frequency is assigned to you by the Department of Revenue. Even if you didn’t have any sales in the period being reported on, you still need to file an excise tax return reporting no business.
